I do believe there is much much more wisdom to this than just what we can find or know on our own. The bible tells us,
2 Corinthians 12:9 ESV
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
This verse particularly has been on my mind. How have you seen God's power made perfect in Your weakness? For myself, when I find I can't do anything on my own power, and am required to rely on Him for power, strength, and guidance- He is glorified. It isn't that the situation I am going through becomes easier, it is that my faith rests on Him instead of myself. Does this mean I don't do the work? Of course not! We are called to do work in excellence as if we are working for the Lord, not man! It simply places the responsibility of the outcome on the shoulders of the Lord, where he takes the burden and does the work and our weakness becomes strength only in Him.
